Important information about your resumes and how they are graded.

I've been thinking about the best way to grade your resumes. Because everyone has had work and education experiences that will be different, grading your resumes on quality seems a bit unfair. So, I've come up with the following grading scheme:

If you submitted a resume by the deadline (which I think is everyone), you'll be given full credit. However, you can earn an additional 5 points by taking your draft resume to the Department of Career Services and having them review your resume with you. The Career Advisors will make helpful comments and suggestions on your resume and sign the resume indicating that you have met with them. Bring the signed copy to me by the end of the semester and you'll get 5 points. Hopefully this will encourage you to polish your resume even further and help you land that amazing internship, independent study, etc.

The Department of Career Services is located in the CUE building, room 217. Walk-ins are welcome from 10am to 4pm.
