Amphipsalta strepitans, found at the Wainuiomata River mouth in Wellington District, North Island. Kikihia muta male singing in the grass and flax in Otari, Wellington. This is K. muta muta but both K. muta subspecies look fairly similar from a dorsal view and there is much color variation in both subspecies.
