Villarsia albiflora F.Muell. ab antecedente facillime divellitur praeter characteres jam datos sepalis minus late membraneis, seminibus utraque facie turgentibus dense asperulatis haud marginulatis. Occurrit quoque ad flumen Blackwood's River. Petioli passim pedales. Folia ad 3" lata. Semina ⅓"' longa, flavida, ad umbilicum apiculata. Huc planta Drummondi 4.
|
Villarsia albiflora F.Muell. is easily distinguished from the former according to the characters now given: Sepals less widely membranaceous; seeds each densely with rough swellings on the surface, hardly [marginulatis]. Occurs also at Blackwood's River. Petioles everywhere 1 ft [30 cm]long. Leaves to 3 in wide. Seeds 0.3 lin [7.6 cm] long, yellow, apiculate toward the hilum. Here belongs the plant Drummond 4.
