Affinis speciei N. indica, sed folio minuti, corollae 1.2-1.5 cm. longa, ovaria abortive, et chromosomatum numberus 2n = 3x = 27 differt.

Affined to the species N. indica, but differs in small leaf, corolla 1.2-1.5 cm long, abortive ovary, and chromosome number 2n = 3x = 27.
