Glabra, caulibus laxe erectis v. reptantibus breviusculis, foliis lato- v. rhombeo-ovatis passim cordatis parvis integerrimis plerisque radicalibus, paniculis terminalibus pluri- v. multifloris, corolla minuta lutea calycem quinquepartitum parum superante fauce fimbriata, antheris ellipsoideis basi sagittatis, capsula parva ovata evalvi calycem aequante, seminibus minutim puberulis haud carinatis. Glabrous, with quite a short stem, laxly erect or creeping. Leaves wide- or rhomboid-ovate everywhere, small, cordate, entire, on the whole radical. Panicles terminal, few- or many-flowered. Corolla small, yellow, barely surpassing the five-parted calyx, throat fimbriate. Anthers ellipsoid, sagittate at the base. Capsule small, ovate, evalvate, of equal length to the calyx. Seeds minutely pubescent, scarcely keeled.

Planta paucipollicaris usque spithamaea, nonnunquam stolonifera. Folia ½-1" longa. Pedicelli tenues, unciales v. breviores, bracteolis lineari-subulatis fulti. Calyces 1½-2"' longi. Margo loborum corollae nisi fallor integer. Antherae sulphureae, vix ½"' longae. Capsula membranea, bilinearis v. paulo longior, pleiosperma. Semina fusca, compresso-globosa, vix 1/3"' metentia. Plant spanning up to a few feet, sometimes stoloniferous. Leaves 0.5-1.0 in [1.3-2.5 cm] long. Pedicels thin, 1 in [2.5 cm] or shorter, supported by linear-subulate bracteoles. Calyces 1.5-2 lin [3.2-4.2 mm]long. Margin of the corolla lobes entire, unless I am mistaken. Anthers sulphur-colored, scarcely 0.5 lin [1.1 mm] long. Capsule membranaceous, 2 lin [4.2 mm] or a little longer, many-seeded. Seeds dark, compressed-globose, measuring scarcely 0.3 lin [0.6 mm].
Villarsia albiflora producit semina ovalia, scaberrima. Haec planta ad flumen Blackwood's River occurrit. Villarsia albiflora produces oval, scabrous seeds. This plant occurs at Blackwood's River.
