Last Thursday, I visited the Yale University Herbarium which belongs to Yale Peabody Museum of Natural History.
I am very grateful of Dr. Patrick Sweeney (collections manager) for both arranging the visit and allowing me to see Elatine specimens.

Welcome to my Elatine blog!
Thank you for visiting my blog. Here, I will post my findings about the genus Elatine. I will also share interesting papers,
pictures and videos of my field trips, and other information that might suit your interest. So, please help me achieve
this goal by providing me with links of articles and news that are related to plant biology, systematics, and evolution.
I need to travel a lot to collect as many Elatine specimens as possible. So far, I have some travels to Western United States, State of Connecticut, and State of Massacheusetts.
I have had the opportunity to teach both undergraduate- and graduate levels in EEB at University of Connecticut. Introduction to Biology Lab (1102) in Fall, 2010 and Systematic Botany Lab (3271/5271) in Spring 2011.
