Plant-animal interactions, coevolution, metacommunity dynamics - specifically, I am interested in how positive species interactions (e.g., mutualistic interactions) influence community structure and dynamics. Currently, I am investigating the interaction between the ant Myrmelachista flavocotea and its obligate host plants Ocotea atirrensis and O. dendrodaphne.
