This was the last photograph found on the abandoned, bloodied camera of an amateur cryptozoologist who went missing in the desert scrublands of SW Arizona last July. The image shows undeniable proof of the fabled Sonoran horse-faced jackalope. This, of course, is a juvenile and has yet to grow its distinctive antlers, but based on its coyote-like limbs and vapid, exophthalmic countenance, it is clearly a Sonoran horse-face. Most experts who have reviewed this image agree that this is the animal’s classic attack stance [[which likely preceded the untimely demise of the photographer. (Ben Gagliardi)
