The Greenhouse Community Garden is located behind TLS in the space outside the greenhouses. This is a community run garden, where volunteers help plant, weed, and water for a share of the harvested fruits and veggies. The 2007 season is well underway. Visitors are welcome to stop by and take a look, but please don't eat the tomatoes.

Items to Harvest

Keep this space up to date with the crops ready to be harvested. If you can, reference each crop to a location in the garden map below.

  • Tomatoes, Zone C
  • Lemon Cucumbers (Zone E) and Cucumbers (Zone F)

News and Upcoming Weeding Events

  • Lettuce, Kalrabi, and cauliflower seeds started in greenhouse, 8/29

Harvesting Restrictions

  • Beans on the hoophouse are for drying, and not to be eaten yet.
  • Fruits tagged with yellow ribbons are to be kept for seeds, please don't pick and eat these.
  • The corn is not to be eaten, but saved for seeds.
