The President schedules and presides over GSA meetings. Additional duties of the president include:

  • Arranging a snack for during the meeting, usually pizza and soda.
  • Registering the EEB GSA with the Department of Student Activities Involvement Office[1].

The president’s main goal is to keep the organization running smoothly. This may include, but is not limited to, giving helpful advice to officers or committee members, facilitating communication among members, and being open and available to assist with EEB/GSA projects.

  • The GSA president is required to attend a mandatory COO SOLID workshop (SOLID Training) before the GSA account can be opened at the Business Office.
